New Babies

I feel that everyone is a spirit, a living angel so to speak. We are born from a spark, a tiny infinite being, a living soul, an angel who is given a new life by God. Some angels wish to be free of worldly suffering, sickness, joy, love, hunger, cold, and pain of all kinds; they just want to just watch over us. Yet all of these heavenly sparks at one time or the other yearn to be mortal once more, be loved, and to love once again. They ask God to give them that precious gift of life once more so that they can feel love, pain, joy and all the wonder that life gives each of us if just one more time.

All of our lives are woven together like a endless silken tapestry, whipped by a gentle breeze, with no end, no beginning; flowing in an never ending living fabric of life. Although tiny, fragile and dependent upon us, these newborn infants in those early moments of life understand much more than we as adults understand or want to acknowledge.

In those fleeting moment after birth their tiny blue eyes fade quickly while they search our faces for that former life that they once had. They need to know that we love them. They need to know that we want them, and they need to know that we welcome them into this world once more.
