New Born Babies

We Are All Living Angels

I believe every one of us is a spirit—a living angel, so to speak. We begin as a spark: a tiny, infinite being, a soul, an angel granted new life by God.

Some angels choose to remain free from the trials of the world—suffering, sickness, joy, love, hunger, cold, and every form of pain. They simply wish to watch over us. Yet even these heavenly sparks, at one time or another, long to become mortal once more: to be loved and to love again. They ask God for the precious gift of life, yearning to experience all the wonders it offers—just one more time.

Our lives are woven together like an endless silken tapestry, gently stirred by a breeze, with no true beginning or end. It flows as a living, never-ending fabric of existence.
Though tiny, fragile, and utterly dependent on us, newborn infants understand far more in those first moments than we adults often admit—or even wish to acknowledge.

In the fleeting seconds after birth, their eyes search our faces intently, as if fading memories of a former life flicker behind them. They are seeking reassurance: that we love them, that we want them, that we welcome them back into this world once more.

What greater gift can we give than to meet that gaze with open hearts and say, without words, "Yes, little one—you are home"?
